| In the late 40’s & 50’s when Ballroom dancing was at it peak, the roll of the Dance Schools was to teach people to dance and then they would go dancing in the many large Ballrooms that every city & town had. There was also dancing in most town halls and many other privately run ballrooms.
With the change in the music, the desire to dance with a partner changed to solo dancing to the pop music of the day.
Today there are very few large Ballrooms left where people can go to dance so the roll of the Schools & Dance Centres has changed to not only teaching dancing
but also to provide the facilities to dance.
We hold a regular monthly Social Dances at the Studio, Biggin Hill for our Members & their Friends, Which are very popular events
ADULT BEGINNERS BALLROOM & LATIN CLASSES.
The "Studio" Biggin Hill. Every Monday at 7-30pm to 8-30pm.
The Chelsfield Centre Chelsfield, Orpington Every Thursday at 7-30pm to 8-30
Beginners are welcome at either of the above classes at any time.
